My search for answers
My interest in the mind/body/spirit connection became heightened after my Father died the same weekend that my youngest daughter was born in 1978, and Mum dying from Asbestosis in 1982. When my parents died I went through the whole arena of feelings that you can experience after you have become bereaved. Anger, hurt, feeling betrayed by God, feeling guilty about what I was feeling, depressed and unhappy.
I began to search for answers to questions that only I could find. I was a young wife, with four young children aged 1 - 10 years old. It was the experience of caring for my Mum that gave me the understanding of the carer’s role, responsibilities and feelings that has lead to my part in the forming of The Odyssey Centre.
A personal Odyssey
Each of us has our own story to tell - our own Odyssey of life. We can either choose to let the events of our lives shape our future in a positive way, or allow them to dictate in a negative way. Having four young children around the house didn’t give much time for negativity, and these four young souls taught me a lot, (and still do).
The past 28 years has been an incredible time. I have learned so much from so many different people. My four young children have grown into four beautiful adults, and I now have three gorgeous grandchildren too. I have gained qualifications in subjects I never thought I would, and most of all, begun to live the purpose I believe I was born to live.
In 1992 I met a lady named Anne Arnott, who introduced me to the works of Louise Hay, Edgar Cayce and Dr. Norman Walker. I listened to taped seminars on Nutrition, and how to live a Holistic lifestyle. Annie also introduced me to Angel cards, and a place called The Findhorn Foundation in Scotland. After hearing about Findhorn and the Experience Week I knew that I just had to visit.

Eileen Caddy & Daisa Morgan 1998
During my trips to Findhorn taking in Experience Week, and The Teachers Training Programme, I was invited to visit with Eileen Caddy, one of the Findhorn Co-founders. I had been keeping a journal for several years, where I had instinctively learned to listen to “the still small voice within”. I showed some of this writing to Eileen, I suppose to ask her if I could believe what I was writing. Eileen was always a source of support, and her advice would always be the same, “Be still, and listen, because all you need to know is inside waiting to be revealed.”
The formation of Dodl
So my constant “listening”, and the events and situations of my life, has lead to the formation of Dodl - Daisa Original Designs - ‘gifts with soul’, The Original Reikibear and The Odyssey Centre.
One of the most memorable chats that I had with Eileen Caddy was when she told me the value of the three ‘P’s’. Patience - Persistence - Perseverance.
When you put these three assets along with a positive intent, life can be remarkable. I sincerely hope that the focus cards, bears and other Dodl products that we have created, help you to remain positive, and to find your purpose in life - and live it.
Hugs
Daisa
